A camera set up for a disabled cat captures something unexpected

Ace, a black-and-white cat missing one eye, spent too long in a shelter because people were scared of how he looked. But when Norma’s family adopted him, he finally had a home where he felt safe.

Ace loved relaxing on the porch, but most passersby avoided him. To keep an eye on him, Norma set up a small camera outside.

One day, while checking the footage, she saw something unexpected — a young boy riding his bike stopped in front of their house. He gently approached Ace, and the cat instantly relaxed, as if they already knew each other.

The boy cuddled him for a while, clearly not afraid of Ace’s missing eye.

The next days, the boy came back again. This time, Norma stepped outside and told him he was welcome anytime. The boy smiled widely — he genuinely loved spending time with Ace.

“A friend of Ace is a friend of ours,” she told him.

Norma later shared the sweet footage online, and it quickly spread. People loved the simple message:
Kindness doesn’t see imperfections — it just sees a friend.
