“The Stick Figure That Spoke the Truth”

Posted on November 29, 2025 By admin No Comments on “The Stick Figure That Spoke the Truth”

A 4-year-old named Liora drew a family of five—Mom, Dad, little sister, herself, and an extra stick figure. Her teacher initially assumed it was imaginary, but Liora calmly explained it was her “other mommy” who lived with Grandma and visited when her father wasn’t home.

Curiosity led the teacher to learn that Zahra, Liora’s mother, had been living apart from controlling circumstances at home, staying with her sister Nasrin. The child’s drawings reflected her reality before the adults admitted it openly. Over time, Zahra reclaimed her independence, and Liora thrived under the care of her chosen family.

The story highlights how children often reveal truths adults overlook, and sometimes listening to their “crayon confessions” can lead to understanding, courage, and healing.
