Amid the holiday airport chaos, an elderly woman’s suitcase raised concern when security saw strange bundles on the X-ray. Officers gathered, expecting trouble — but when they opened the suitcase, they found it filled with colorful, mismatched socks.
The woman explained that she collected odd socks all year and hid tiny surprises in each one for her family’s winter “Sock Hunt,” a beloved game her grandchildren adored. Inside the socks were little treats, coins, riddles, and kind handwritten notes.
